Philadelphia entrepreneurs and manufacturers were able to sell their wares directly to the public, from person to person without the complications of corporations. Quality, industry and pride drove these craftsmen to create a bustling economy based entirely on local merchandise.

We're bringing that spirit back to Philadelphia. This September, Headhouse Square will become home to a thriving marketplace on Fridays. Come see what the fuss is about, and enjoy the livelihood of The New Market.
